How to Compose and Send an Email Message in Gmail

So you have just signed up for your new Gmail account and are wondering How to compose and send an Email Message in Gmail. Relax; composing an email in Gmail is as easy as writing a letter that you use in your everyday life. Here is a quick comparison to get you started.

Now that you know the similarities, here is how you can send an email via Gmail.

Step 1: Login into your Gmail account [Go to gmail.com & fill in your username and password]

Step 2: Click on Compose under the Gmail logo on the left hand side. It will take you to the Gmail editor window.

Step 3: Enter the recipients email address in “To:” field. If you have saved contacts in your account, Gmail will pull down suggestion from it as you begin typing the address.

If you are sending email message to more than one person, you can use the Cc or and the Bcc option. Alternatively you can also enter the other email addresses in the “To:” field by separating addresses with a coma.

Step 4: Enter the subject for your message in Subject field.

Step 5: Write your message.

Step 6: When you are done composing the message, click the Send button.

If you want to save message for editing it further click the Save Now button. You can access these messages anytime in your Drafts folder.
